"Taylor Swift; Seeing Red" by Mary Boone is a biography about Taylor Swift and her album "Red". The book starts with a list of statics about Taylor, such as her height (5'11), her hometown, her birthday and more. Then it talks about previous work she has done including music, movies, and television. The main focus of the book is her album "Red" which was released in October 2012. The album was nominated for 4 Grammy's, but sadly didn't win any. Along with the Grammy's "Red" was nominated for several other prestigious awards including the AMA (American Music Awards) the CMA (Country Music Awards), and the Billboard music awards. The book also goes on to discuss the personal hardships her fame has brought her, and how it has affected her life. If your looking for something interesting to read, or just nonfiction in general I recommend this book.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars because, I think it is an interesting nonfiction book that can appeal to anyone. I in particular enjoy music, and Taylor Swift so this was a great pick for my nonfiction book. Although I already had an extensive amount of information about the topic, I was still able to learn a few facts from the book and enjoy what I was reading. I also think this book would be great for anyone researching Taylor Swift or Country Music in general. To summarize this all, I loved this book, and i would definitely recommend it.… (más)
