Martha Blum

Unfortunately, Marta's book ended up in my DNF Graveyard. While I was privileged to know the background to this story, I found its characterizations often impenetrable. And Jewish persecutions always depress me and I end up in tears. Is it a 5 star book? Maybe but I can only score what I read, what I could cope with.
