What a wonderful book! Bear has a long beard and as he travels throughout the world he finds other animals with beards.
This is so much fun. I liked that each illustration shows the visited animal and place as well as something from that country. The drawings are fantastic! The story is cute as can be. I loved it (and I don't like beards.) It is perfect for your 2-5 year old.

In this lovely, little book a little girl's bear has a beard! This bear is quite the wild guy, he even beats up Santa Claus! He was knighted by a queen (not the Queen, because... you know, she's busy). He gets into many shenanigans, has many friends and seems like quite the interesting character!
I would use this book for educational purposes - learning how to pronounce words or say longer sentences. It's not the most thematically interesting book but it sure is fun! I can honestly say I had a fun time and giggled a bit while reading it. My reading buddies back in the day would have loved this book! It's truly a delight.
The illustrations are cute and simple. They only take up about one third of the page and are easy to follow. The colours are bright enough to pull your attention but not overly wild to keep your attention away from the story.
Three out of five stars!
