An entertaining celebration of bird song on both sides of the Atlantic, represented with Roman letters and mnemonic phrases listed alphabetically by sound. If they ever produce a second edition, I'd like to see it organized by bird types in the vein of regular bird guides. The comparison of common terms for birds in Great Britain and North America speaks to lexicographers as well as bird enthusiasts.
