Annie Bellet

"Hunting Delilah" was a great little thriller but with an anti-climatic ending. However, I was pleasantly surprised when Sam Arbichaut arrived on the scene about halfway through the novel. He was still a detective on the police force which meant this novel was written before the author decided to give him his own series.

Delilah was a fighter and con artist, and refused to live by the rules. She was also a mother who gave up her child and, surprisingly, she was a sympathetic character. She did make stupid choices but I grew to like her and was concerned for her survival.

Overall, an exciting read.… (más)
