God and His Image
an outline of biblical theology
This volume, an early translation of scroll fragments was produced for the working scholar. The historic and archaeological background are in English or French; the translations from Hebrew or Aramaic are all French. This was the first of the Qumran series which is still in print from Oxford. The Dead Sea Scrolls have still, sixty years on, not been fully published or otherwise available, but that's another story.
