I love this series, I love LOVE LOVE the character growth, the kinky fuckery, the challenges and trials and triumphs. This book is the culmination of what we have been hoping to see happen with Henry, Alice and Jay, this is the light at the end of the tunnel, and the beginning of the rest of their lives.

I shamelessly ask to be a reviewer of this book, and even though I got an advanced copy, I still go and buy it because this series is that good.

If you haven't started reading "Neighborly Affection" well this is the best time for it. The previous books all end on a bit of a cliffhanger, a spot where it's a soft scene break. Now we have a full stop. Out story has come to a major conclusion, although that isn't to say that there isn't room for more, it's just that if you are they type of person to wait for a major conclusion to binge a series, well it's now. There are many reviews of this series and this author, and I have given more than a few.

This is a heartfelt, emotional, kinky fuckery, BDSM Menage, Triads, MMF, Dominant Male, Submissive Male, Switch Female story that somehow manages to take 2 years and show major character growth and development.

Almost any reader can identify with some of the the struggles and identity issues, wants and desires being shown in this series.

Yes it's erotica, but that's just what got you in the door with the first scorching hot book. This is a romance, and it's about knowing who you are and learning to love yourself and standing up for yourself and going for what it is that makes you feel whole. This is about the realization of dreams too dear to put voice to, the hope that comes with love and personal growth.

But yes, it does have the kinky fuckery that you have (maybe not as of yet, but hopefully soon) come to love about this series!

Crossing the Lines by MQ Barber was another hot read that has me anxious for the next book!

While this book didn't live up to the first book, man was it definitely hotter in the sexiness department. MQ stepped up the game, with more sexy-time, more conflict, and more heartbreaks/feelings! I have so many feels after reading this!

There are so many reasons why I loved this book, so here's a list:
1. Alice is an incredibly strong female lead!
2. Jay is adorable, even though he's kind of unrealistic the way he acts (like a puppy).
3. Henry is hot. Kind of Christian Grey-esque, but damn is he still hot.
4. Lots of hot, sexy scenes. And I mean lots. I'd say to many, but there's never enough when MQ is writing.
5. Evil bad guy Cal.
6. More emotions/realistic situations involving feelings with Alice's internal struggle.
7. I fell in love with the characters all over again.

Now for what I didn't like:
1. The public, club scene...it wasn't sexy. It was kind of annoying that after all the ups and downs, this scene had to kind of ruin the climatic ending.
2. I felt like the conflict of the story was kind of...lame. It didn't seem fitting compared to the amazing highs of the novel - but I have this feeling MQ will tear my heart out with a future book, since it is a series.

Overall, I loved it! I want the next book right now!! I need it! This series is going to kill my poor heart because it's so good!

Five out of five stars!

If I could give this book 10 out of 5, I would. It is probably one of the most incredible romance novels I have ever gotten my hands on. And by romance, I mean erotica.

This novel is centered around Alice and her two handsome, hunky roommates Henry and Jay. But there's something different about them...they really enjoy having three in the bedroom.

The story follows Alice engaging in some fun time with her two roommates, and boy is it hot.

If you are looking for some hot, dramatic erotica with two super hot men this is for you! This book will definitely satisfy some females who are looking for a book that is all about taking care of the women in the bedroom and not the man!!! It is kind of like your BDSM 101 course, as it is slowly starting out with some of your basics in the genre.

Our one love interest is kind of a puppy dog and is very silly, while the other speaks professionally (which can either be very hot or seem very stupid depending on how you like your novels).

This novel isn't meant to win some crazy literary award or go for an Oscar, so don't expect it to woo you with her literary language and metaphors. It is a hot romance!! Keep that in mind!

Overall, I enjoyed it. The book is not meant to be a realistic take on your average bedroom play. But it does give your imagination some very happy thoughts.

Five out of five stars! I want like a thousand more books in this series please!

I loved this book, which is a companion novel to the "Neighborly Affection" series. A third-person heroine POV, BDSM DM/sm/sf menage that is ultimately about two men who try to teach a woman what love looks like, so that she may recognize it in them for each other and for her.

It isn't meant to be read outside the series as the novella between books, but alongside it, chapter by chapter. Each chapter of Tuesdays with Jay has a sub-heading pointing the reader to the place in the series that it takes place. It is in the male POV of one of the heroes, and takes place outside the series set in a Boston diner on Tuesday afternoons along with the heroine.

It gives so much more insight into the mind of the sweet, flirty, outgoing submissive Jay Kress. He is shown in the series as being exuberant, loyal, and eager to please. Since the series is written in the heroine's POV, we aren't privy to his thoughts, which may be considered a bit shallow due to his not being able to really say what he wants.

Alice is being slowly coaxed into recognizing the love that Jay and his dominant/owner Henry have for her, so with Henry setting the plans in motion, Jay is left to follow his lead. Henry is always holding Jay back a bit in the hopes that Alice won't get spooked.

It was Jay who came up with the idea of having lunches with Alice every Tuesday as a way of building their relationship past the nights they spent together, and to act as eyes and ears for Henry so that they can make sure their plans are hitting the right target.

This book consists of chapter by chapter scenes matching up with the series, each Tuesday lunch that Alice and Jay share where we hear so much more that we otherwise would have had M.Q. not put out the book.

Also, this book contains never before released chapters, so those who think they have read them already because they were getting the newsletter, know this, it goes past book two and into book three. It also contains the novella "Three Way Tie" is added at the end, meant to be read after finishing "Healing the Wounds".
