A murder in the theater. Director Jeffrey Stone is going back to New York to direct a play leaving Halifax behind. His wife Catherine refuses to go with him. But she won’t have to because as he drinks a closing night toast to the cast he falls to the stage floor dead.

This story sucked me in, so many directions the story takes, the characters are so vivid. The author winds you up but never lets you see the face of the killer until the final moments. Good read.
