If you're a crazy plant lady like me & know more about indoor plants than anyone you know..... Well you probably won't need this book! Most of my friends aren't planty & it's usually me they turn to when something goes wrong so I know a fair bit, this book managed to amaze me though.
The title of the books is pretty self explanatory (although it was written by an American duo & Americans have some pretty strange ideas about indoor plants) I read this book in three days. Some of the facts this duo scared up about our most beloved houseplants were just jaw dropping. For example, did you know that kalanchoes are used medicinally in the West Indies? Until I read that I thought they were just for making my big garden bed look better. See what I mean by Americans having strange ideas about houseplants though? If your interest in houseplants is growing, this book is a must have.… (más)
