NCLA Review: Dr. Lynne Baab discusses the challenges of holding onto and making deep and lasting friendships in this age of technology, as well as the role electronic communication (Facebook, texting, video chat) plays in those friendships. One of the most insightful aspects of the book is the small boxes inserted every so often into the text. This book is a practical guidebook for all to slow down and enjoy our relationship with God. In a gentle, concise style. Baab recommends a weekly day of rest as a gift from God that teaches Christians about grace.

Excellent resource. Baab's has written a more complete guide for beginners and intermediate MB students. Although aimed at congregational leaders, this book will help leadership in any setting work more productively with others. Baab's discusses our DOMINANT, AUXILIARY, TERTIARY and INFERIOR functions throughout. A chart on page 17 is a handy reference for understanding ourselves—always the best starting place to understand others!
