The story begins with a couple of paranormal investigators in a house trying to catch evidence of paranormal activity, and hilariously, they get it. Soon after, the owners move out and new owners, the protagonist of the story, moves in. Willow and her family have moved a lot because of her father's military job, and Willlow is determined that this will be the last move. She intends to stay in this house, no matter how many ghosts try to disrupt her plans.

This story was so sweet and heartwarming and the I loved all of the ghosts and their quirky personalities. The graphics were a little bit confusing to me at times and hard to follow, but that might just be because I'm relatively new to graphic novels and am not quite used to the style. Overall, this is a great graphic novel to pick up and I highly recommend it.… (más)

Willow, a military brat who has been dragged all over the world by her parents' service, has a chance to finally live in one place for more than two years, but the house her family has purchased is haunted by ghosts who want her gone. This is more Casper the Friendly Ghost than Amityville Horror, though, as Willow's adventures with the ghosts slowly and gently tend toward the warm and fuzzy even though one may be a serial killer and another is a great and ancient beast of dark unearthly power. A low-key but enjoyable haunted house story for kids.… (más)

I love the Steven Universe show, but it's main fault was giving too many highlight episodes to some truly weak-ass side characters like Kevin and Mayor Dewey. This graphic novel is about one of the worst of those guys, Ronaldo Fryman, the narcissistic conspiracy theorist. I hate him. At least there are a few nice character moments for the Gems as they try to stop an old piece of Gemworld technology from causing everything in Beach City to float away into space.

The art by Queenie Chan looks a bit amateurish and struggles to stay on-model for the characters.

Not a great Steven fix overall.
