This book was decent. I thought it was a bit lengthy. Martin Luther King Jr. did a lot in his life so I see reason behind it. This book didn't only talk about King but other role models like Rosa Parks. There is a lot in this book that I didn't know about him. I though he did a little more then a big speech but he did way more then I expected. He was a good man and was wrongfully placed in jail. May he live as an important figure for a long time.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a black man that lived in the time of racism. America just recently fought World War 2. King was mainly known for giving the "I have a dream speech" and getting assassinated. He did way more for equal rights. King refused to ever have physical protests. He refused to fight and thought it was wrong even for self defense. He went to jail multiple times, most of those times getting pardons from the president. Once they didn't even let King have his 1 phone call. His wife called president Kennedy and once again Kennedy pardoned him. King led many protests and also helped lead a boycott against city buses. King got assassinated standing on a hotel room's balcony. He will be remembered.… (más)

This book is a great way to start talking about plagarism in a class. I woud define the word first, then follow up by reading this book. It really describes how to cite, and everything in a paper.
