Covers the influences of scouting in terms of the historical actors. Also covers the modern influences as the scouts move away from being a primarily secular group as they were in the 50s. With the rise of Methodists and Morman influences within the BSA now have a more religious tone than in days past. Also includes an interesting passage on the misplaced concerns about homosexuality which would be more appropriately channels into concerns about pederasty.
