Once again, we have another fun installment in the adventures of Priscilla Latham Grant and the happenings on Martha's Vineyard. This time Priscilla's lighthouse is the victim of an arsonist. Priscilla's property isn't the only victim. Many buildings around town are being burned to the ground. Can Priscilla get to the bottom of the mystery before any more town buildings go up in smoke?

This struck a great chord after the debacle of the last book (for me). I felt like I was back with familiar characters. Readers wanting an offering centered around the Fourth of July will like this.… (más)

Another fun installment in the Mysteries of Martha's Vineyard series. Priscilla Latham Grant, who has recently inherited a lighthouse, can't help but get swept up in helping to solve a mystery which involves the appearance of a suspicious and abandoned houseboat, an art theft, and some strange dog barking. Will she be able to solve the mystery before she herself is cast "Adrift"?

This is just one of those books that keeps you interested. The characters, the setting, the plot...all great, easy-reading, and perfect for getting swept up in. Don't read while hungry. The descriptions of the pastries and other delicacies will make your mouth water and send you right to the kitchen!… (más)

When an unconscious woman is Hampton Park is brought to Mercy Hospital with no identification, Shirley recruits Anne to find out who the woman is and track down her family. Anne agrees, happy to help in any way she can. However she soon learns that discovering Jane Doe's identity is a lot harder then she expected.
