Caro-Kann Defence por Alexei Suetin
The Caro-Kann Defence, 1. e4 c6, is possibly Black's soundest reply to 1. e4 and has been a favorite weapon of World Champions Botvinnik, Petrosian and Karpov.

Although it has a drawish reputation, play can become very lively, particularly in the currently popular Advance Variation and many theoretically important games have been played over the past decade. The author fills a major gap in chess literature by providing a comprehensive work covering all lines of the Caro Kann in one volume, and includes substantial original analysis.
