Today, I had an audiobook to return to the library. While there, I bought a pristine copy of English Bread and Yeast Cookery in their used books section and then borrowed two more audiobooks for this week's commute (and probably part of next week's too): Murder at ... English Bread and Yeast Cookery by Elizabeth David A little tricky, but not bad, from what I've read in Elizabeth David's English Bread and Yeast Cookery. But you do need the crumpet rings, or (so I've heard) tuna cans, with top and bottom both removed, which, barring sharpness, make a fair equivalent. ... inspire anyone to cook, or eat joyfully. Next up: improving my Elizabeth David collection. Thus far, it's limited to English Bread and Yeast Cookery. (!)
