I know that this is a fiction book. However, I feel that when children read this book it will help them to feel better about going to the doctor. Most things doctors do at the vet, they will do at the pediatrician, like shots and check-ups. The illustrations are very colorful and it will catch the eye of the reader. I believe children will feel more comfortable about going to the doctor after reading this book. ( )

In this book a young girl takes her dog, Biscuit, to visit the Veterinarian. The book describes the entire process, from waiting, all components of the checkup and leaving. At the end of the book the family returns home. Mother, Daughter and Dog in this book.

I would use this book for effective questioning

Kids will learn that dogs need to get check ups just like humans do plus not to be afraid of the vet clinic.

REVIEW: In this story the young girl takes her dog biscuit to the doctors to get a check up and make sure he is ok. While they are there they visit Dr. Green and they meet new friends and find out how much biscuit has grown.
