It is one of those novels that is realistic enough that you feel you are actually there and engaging enough that you cant put it down. Would recommend to any teenager. ( ) Possibly the best young adult fiction book ever written on the subject of alternative teens and drug use. A look through the eyes of an already jaded teenage male as he pitches through the hurdles or romance, hormones, dodgy friends, drug use, and sibling rivalry, throw that all in with a murder, theft, and several other law breaking behaviours, all told in a realistic manner and you have a story of epic proportions. Despite the seemingly dramatic events this all manages to stay realistic (despite the fact that the character manages to pull a top HSC score out out of a drug induced haze) and provide the reader an end that will make them laugh, cry and most of all, think. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Novel for young adults about a teenager who moves to a new town and reinvents himself as cool and popular. Andrew makes friends with three beautiful, drug-taking, drug-dealing rebels. Now he just has to get the girl, figure out the meaning of life, and stay out of jail. Author was the editor of 'Newt' zine. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
