A tad better than the others in the series. I liked the stronger female not so dependent on the male. ( )

Eh...Never came to like the heroine of this novel. This novel lacks the fluffiness of her other books. Zero chemistry between the characters, no entertaining mystery, depressing, historical background completely ridiculous. Neither Edward I "Longshanks" nor Robert the Bruce would have cared one whit as to who married this woman and gained her estate. ( )
