... Games, the series is soooo addicting.
Still working away at War and Peace and Muerte de Nadie, I've also picked up Pride and Prejudice and Zombies---hope I don't regret it for the rest of my days.
I want to give Pride and Prejudice and Zombies a shot before I give up. I think it sounds like fun! There must be some good Austen spin-offs out there, right? Right? Haha, I hope so.
Oh, there also exists a Mr. Knightley's Diary by the same author. Definetively leaving that one alone! >32
Your "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" lightened up my day when I really needed it. Thank you.

The problem is so much one of books multiplying, it's that they're the wrong ones! All the good ones are "borrowed" and never returned, until I'm left with those that I'd rather ... Quick, someone start writing Little Women and Zombies! Book breeding...isn't that what Pride and Prejudice and Zombies et alii are about?
How about "North and South and Cujo"? Or "The Mill on the Floss and Poltergeist"? ... I hate to have my favorite characters "polluted" by other's extrapolations of their lives. That said, I do intend to try Pride and Prejudice and Zombies simply to see how they insert the new material into the text of P&P. Not sure I'll follow up with any of those sequels either, though. ... own series. Your review tends to reinforce my prejudice. I've been afraid to explore fanfic for just such reasons. And Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? Shudder (though it may have potential as a one-off spoof). Or that mystery series that takes the Darcies and their newly imagined ... Just arrived today:

That's too bad about Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It sounds like fun (most of the zombie spoofs coming out lately do), but now I'm glad I haven't bought a copy. I didn't really appreciate Pride, Prejudice and Zombies, but I am very much enjoying The Anubis Gates (100 pages into it...). ... been longing to read, but have been afraid it would not live up to its hype. Woohoo!
I finally broke down and bought Pride and Prejudice and Zombies -- though it offends my sensibilities so -- and will probably enjoy it in spite of myself. :) A pat to "Something Awful" for giving a slap to those inane Pride and Prejudice and Zombies books:
http://www.somethingawful.com/d/news/pride-prejudice-zombies.php?page=1 I'm about to read The Forest of Hands and Teeth, which looks pretty awesome. You could try Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which is pretty ass-kicking for something based on an Austen book -- there are zombies AND ninjas, if that helps. The Generation Dead series is pretty good, too. ... ing.com/topic/80911
Changing the look of the font is in post 6 of that thread.
I enjoyed your reviews! I've considered Pride and Prejudice and Zombies but thought it would be fun for the first few pages and then get tiresome. I think there's also Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters in ... Book 3
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith

As a teenager, this book appealed to me just because of its title. Zombies are very popular subjects now (don't ask me why!), but I also love Jane Austen. At the very beginning, I found ... ... it soon, but I have to write a commentary right now on "Bereft" by Robert Frost. Will review Ya-Ya's In Bloom and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies soon.

I'll be interviewing Seth Grahame-Smith, author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and his upcoming novel Abraham Lincoln: Zombie Hunter for the March State of the Thing.
Please post your questions before March 1. Hey DrN, I get the feeling you like zombies. Have you read Pride and prejudice and zombies? I have my name on the waiting list for that one at the library- it has actually gotten some nice reviews! Got Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith (author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies), as well as Preston & Child's latest Pendergast novel, Fever Dream. 09. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith (09/02/10)
It’s the incongruity of this combination that amused me the most, and made this an enjoyable light read - with the added benefit of the opportunity to re-read most of the original novel. It’s perhaps ... ... Gaiman

Book 1: Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Book 2: Ya-Yas in Bloom by Rebecca Wells
Book 3: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith ... *sniffle*. I also like that quote, "I believe I have seen Hell and it is white, snow white."
I also didn't like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and ended up returning it after 1/3. I wanted to read about zombies but when it was just as reliant on kung fu sadistic teaching ... ... that would have such mass appeal. Maybe its because the author died before any of the books were even published.

My sister just called to say she had finished the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies that I loaned her last week.

She expressed such delight that Mr. Collins kills himself. I guess she really disliked him. Finally finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Very funny. So glad I took time in December to read the real one. Made this one so much better. Unfortunately for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies that appears to be Jane Austen. Personally, I'd list Seth Grahame-Smith first. I think this is a problem.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was written by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith. Some copies on LT list both authors, some list Austen, some list Grahame-Smith. All copies have been combined under Jane Austen. This seems wrong to me, as there are two ... ... been deficient on female-authored classics myself. This year, I'll try to read Pride and Prejudice. Then I can read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies without feeling guilty. 128:
Yeah, I thought Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was hilarious, to be honest. I mean, I hate Jane Austen, so that probably had something to do with it. But the followups are taking it a little too far. The original one was a curiosity. The other ones aren't funny anymore. I don't know. I could forgive Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as a one-off joke. But then we've had Mansfield Park and Mummies and Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters and I am Scrooge and it looks like it's never going to end... Going down the toilet? I'm afraid Pride and Prejudice and Zombies did it for me. I just finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies! I quite liked it, but I haven't read Pride and Prejudice before, so I'm not sure if I'd like it less after that. I started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies last night. I apologize in advance for my blasphemy, but I HATED Pride and Prejudice, lol. Adding flesh eating minions of Satan makes the original story slightly more palatable, but I have a feeling this isn't going to make my Top Ten list. I enjoyed Pride and Prejudice and Zombies too. I followed it with Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters which was even more fun. ... run a dating service.

Just ordered some great books through Scholastic Book Clubs (love being a teacher) to add to my TBR pile: The Book Thief, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was the highlight of my beach reading. I really enjoyed it. I started looking for other books like it and Amazon had a ton of them. Mansfield Park and Mummies just came in ... I finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies today, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. My initial reaction when my husband asked me what I thought about it was "It was really good, but I could've done without the zombie bit." So, is it a good book? Well, Pride and Prejudice is wonderful. An ... Probably slightly silly suggestions but maybe Pride and Prejudice and Zombies or Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters? Both classic tales with small additions which brought new life to them for me (I was able to actually read through them... unlike when I was assigned them in AP English :P ) ... I bought this for something fluffy and light to read. It was definitely that but, sadly, nowhere near as entertaining as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The sea monsters didn't mesh as well with this story as the zombies did with Pride and Prejudice. I do appreciate that the publishers ... ... that is my room.
