This was a cute story. It's about a family who moves out in the country and the kids are seeing strange things around their new treehouse. The illustrations throughout were great. The only annoying thing was the girl chanting everything... it got old really quick. I figured out the mystery and it had a nice ending. ( )

This book is categorized. It ought to be under horror. This scared ME, and I'm an adult. ( )

Really sweet characters. I love how the brother is patient with the little sister, but she isn't really annoying like in most stories. And I love how he was reluctant to move to the country, but, gosh, a tree house, and a river to wade in, and woods to explore... yeah, I agree with the Mom, that's going to be a great place to live. Once they figure out why weird things keep happening at the tree house when they're not there. ( )

I remember the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and the tracks in the mud. The boy in the story liked his sandwiches crunchy with more peanut butter I think. Wow! More than 20 years ago...
