This book is three stories wrapped into one book. It starts out with The Cat who Read Backwards. Which is a really great story about Qwill and Koko and how they ended up together when Qwill is covering the beat of Artists. Koko’s owner ends up meeting his demise and Koko becomes an orphan who warms up to Qwill and the two sail off into the sunset. The next book is The Cat who Ate Modern Danish in this one we find Qwill and Koko getting into the lifestyle of decorating. Where Yu or Freya more commonly known afterwards as Yumyum is introduced. Her owner has died and her owner’s spouse kicks Yumyum to the street literally. Meanwhile Koko is showing signs of loneliness and after meeting with a cat person he realizes that Koko is needing another cat. Which makes Qwill think back to Yu aka Freya. Which he rescues and after she gets medical treatment she is brought into the family. To which the story ends. The Next in the series is The Cat who turned Off and On. In this story we find the trio checking into Junktown which is a part of town not the best either by the way, which is known for antiquing. So the trio move into an apartment where the people are set in their ways and not always practicing the best principles. Of course like any Cat Who book there is a murder when Qwill’s landlord dies while raiding a house looking for antiques. These books are great reads with clean language and not to gruesome. Which in this day and age seems fewer and fewer. Most Books know are so graphic you get an upset stomach reading about it. ( )
