Great story line for appreciating differences, family and love. This book is great when teaching vocabulary lessons. I also enjoy how the big words are incorporated with things students experience on a daily basis. It also portrays family and friends in fun atmospheres. This is an informational book that introduces "adult" words to children in a fun way. This book has fun pictures and gives examples for each of the words it introduces. Because this is an informational book there isn't a plot that runs throughout it besides the idea of introducing new words to children. Age Appropriateness: Primary Media: Ink and Color Wash Big Words for Little People, is a good book to teach children new words. It tries to teach children words that might be scary to them. Like the word intelligence, it explains the words and ways to use it. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Although you are small,
you can use Big Words too.
Big Words aren't scary.
They're big fun to learn.
I was taught once
and now it's your turn.
