The Digital Plague by Jeff Somers starts off with a bang, and never lets up. As Avery Cates says, "I was going to have to kill a whole lot of people." And he does.

This is a wonderful future-noir science-fiction action book. The pace is relentless and exciting through the entire book. Nano-bots are exterminating the human race and Avery Cates is the only one who can stop them.

This is the second book in the Avery Cates series, which I won on GoodReads First Reads program, and I have already ordered the other books in the series. I think it might be best to read these books in order since The Digital Plague refers back to a lot of action that apparently happened in The Electric Church, which I plan to read as soon as it arrives. ( )

Not quite as edgy or interesting as the first book in the series. Also this book was not the fast-paced, page-turner that the first one was. I still plan to pick up the next book in the series, but not right away! ( )

Ahh, Avery Cates. So many problems, so few bullets. Whatever did you do to make your author hate you so?

But I-cough-digress because I'm already suffering from some -coughcough- withdrawal symptoms. No time to review. Must find more-cough-Avery Cates. ( )
