She is a "temporary fairy" meaning that she isn't able to do everything a real fairy can, yet. She tells us all about her fairy powers and about the ones she has not yet mastered. I think this is a cute story to read to children, and I would read it in my classroom. This book was really cute! It is about a little girl who is a temporary fairy, so she talks about all the things she does as a temporary fairy, and what she will be able to do as a permanent fairy. I especially liked that Shannon wrote this book from a child's point of view, and even the fonts and pictures were written and drawn as if a child had done them. It's a funny book, it's a cute book, and I love Alice the wild child. However, my daughter was appalled by Alice affirming that broccoli is poison and was not going to read it to her children who are picky eaters, and sometimes tolerate broccoli. They would never eat broccoli again if they took Alice's poisoned broccoli message to heart (and they would!). sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Alicia se cree ser un hada temporal porque todavía tiene mucho que aprender. Usa su varita mágica para hacer muchas cosas prácticas aunque no siempre salgan bien.
Alice, who claims to be a Temporary Fairy, still has a lot to learn, such as how to make her clothes put themselves away in the closet. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
