I would place a bet that 3/4 of the people who own this book got it free as part of their introductory package to the Quality Paperback Book Club. It is filled with iconic images and at least one that will haunt you forever. (

"The Best Of Life" is just that: the best photographs from the best photography magazine ever. Logically laid out and annotated, it is immensely entertaining and educational. There is no better way to get a feel for a time and place than by photographs such as these. (
