The text is pretty repetitive prose, but the art is a clean take on the Disney standard models.
The accompanying audio CD is pretty tedious as it introduces and ends the set and each individual track with the same song, changing only the action word (exercise, running, hopping, etc.) each time. And since the CD includes two versions for each book -- one with a page-turning alert and one without -- if you listen to the CD in one sitting you'll basically hear the same 30-second song twenty-six times in 25 minutes. Ugh.
The box itself is pretty nice at least, with a sturdy feel, a handle on top, and a little pocket on the side to hold the CD.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
