It's an excellent book who has helped me improve how to make
good creams of different vegetables like asparagus, leeks, pumpkin,
and others. Very easy to follow because of its simple language and easy to follow instructions. (

Lots of great soup recipes, the only downfall of this book is the lack of pictures. Other than the front and back cover, there are zero pictures. (

A most excellent cookbook that I borrowed from the library so many times I knew I had to get my own copy! While the recipes tend to be very straight forward and rely on ingredients which are easily obtained, the cookbook covers a tremendous variety of soups and should contain something to tempt even the most jaded foodie. I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in getting into soup making. Soup is, after all, an extremely comforting and generally thrifty dish -- perfect for the new recession lifestyle! (
