This book would be perfect for a child who is learning English. Not only does the book show you the word, but it also gives you a picture of the word and where you can find it. This will help the student make connections in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom. Most words if not all of them are used on a daily basis which will help reinforce them in the process. For a student who is a visual learner, this book will be a good fit for them.

This is one of those detailed books kids love. I use it extensively in ESL. Finding the duck and reviewing vocab and prepositions is a lot of fun. ( )
