They fix the machine and head back to the futue where Peter is allready back and waiting for them. They celebrate, but then the Tar Man comes and steales both the old and new antigravity machines along with Kate and Peter. When they wake up they see The Tar Man with his former employer Lord Luxon. They also see Lord Luxon betray the Tar Man and watch as he travelse to the future with the old time machine, leaving the new on that has a lock on it that non of them know the password to.
