Davy and his siblings set out on an adventure through the woods to find the Easter Bunny in "Happy Easter Davy!". In this story we find Dave, a bunny in the woods, looking for Easter bunny. Though he and his brothers and sisters search high and low they cannot find any signs of the Easter bunny anywhere. Davy decides he is going to make a wonderful Easter for everyone. He takes the time to create thoughtful Easter gifts for all of his family but forgets himself. Then, he finds a present for him that must have been from the real Easter bunny. A lovely story about being thoughtful and kind to those around us. ( ) Little Davy and his family live in the woods. When his big brother tells the story of the Easter Bunny bringing pretty eggs and presents to human children, Davy and his siblings search for him. They want to know why the Easter Bunny doesn't visit them. They search high and low, but the Easter Bunny is nowhere to be found. Davy doesn't want his brothers and sisters to be disappointed on Easter day, so he comes up with a plan. Easter morning brings a surprise for everyone including Davy! The Bottom Line: This is a sweet story of thoughtfulness written for the holiday. The watercolor and graphite illustrations in spring tones of greens, yellows, and blues are engaging. This tender tale will appeal to preschool age children. This review also appears at the Mini Book Bytes Book Review Blog. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
