The work that Gu Zheng Wei has put into the art that been complied in this book is nothing short of impressive. Wei’s art in this books features dark colors, heavy Asian influences, both modern and historic, with the main subjects being women. The text of the book is also interesting and covers various subjects including Wei’s process and his experiences as an artist, break downs of elements of his art, and recommendations for other aspiring artists. An excellent book of art that would be recommended for both art lovers and artist looking for inspiration or to further their skills. ( )
