This is the latest edition of the book known in nursing circles as 'Chilman and Thomas'. It is a foundation textbook for nurses which addresses key topics covered by the Common Foundation Programme (CFP) as well as providing information on a wide range ofdisorders. The text has been radically revised and restructured by new editors to meet the needs of Project 2000, including a scaling down of physiology and anatomy coverage to allow increased coverage of nursing theories and processes.
