Amazing, the banter in this story was soooo good ! ( )

Suspend disbelief and dive into a romance where the main characters are a bit twisted and definitely have baggage Buckle in and get ready for a love story with a lot of kink. ( )

Benito first meets Harlow when his marriage-of-convivence potential wife flakes out due to her own secrets unknowingly to Benito. Harlow is a member of the Yakuka family and is a cold-blooded killer, even responsible for taking out his own brother. Being the youngest and most violent, Harlow is treated like a caged animal and this is how he greets Benito at the alter, bound and muzzled.

What starts out as pure hatred against each other, it soon becomes hardcore lust where both Benito and Harlow can't keep their hands off each other. Both being insanely possessive of each other (hello Blu scene and Benito's housekeeper!) I know the Vitale brothers are all possessive of their partners, but Benito has the lead so far.

While this book does have its serious moments because a war is still brewing within the family and their enemies, there are plenty of funny moments sprinkled throughout, especially with Harlow's "gifts" that he left around the house for Benito to find and epically get on his last nerve.
