Everyone knows someone. Someone a little different from them. This book is for everyone to look at others as a whole person and from a place of acceptance. We might talk differently; we might dance differently, too. But one thing is true...we all want to belong. Children often don't see differences until they are faced with things drastically different from themselves. This book is for them. This book is meant to help us all see that it is okay to be different. It is made for parents, teachers and caregivers to share with all children, and hopefully pass onto others who have, or know, a child with any type of special needs. How much better would the world be if we all understood kindness and inclusion a little bit more?
