I had looked at some reviews and started reading knowing the fact about the spice level. But Trilina did not coat that spice in sugar. I turned all shades of red, had some swooning moments, and some laugh out load moments while reading. Samantha found herself living out one of her greatest fantasies. Snowed in for at least two days with four hot and successful men. The four men took her in ways that she could have never imagined. Trilina sprinkled a bit of every girls fantasy into this deliciously steamy book. This book does lean towards more of a novella. I absolutely wouldn't have minded reading a full length novel for a bit more character development. Learning more about each of the four men, Samantha, and her sister... especially their past... would have added valuable details to the story that I would have enjoyed. However, I did enjoy the fact that she left the physical characteristics of the heroine, Samantha, up to our own imagination. We could place anyone we wanted into that story to help us all escape into a little fantasy world. Still, knowing more about the history of each character and seeing their development would have brought this to a 5. But I guess I am always the reader who wants a little more. This has one of my favorite tropes, forced proximity. I guess you could also classify it as a forbidden romance. This is a great book to curl up with during a cold night or to relax with in a bath... but definitely not in front of your mother or father. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 Overall, this was a cute and steamy read that had me questioning what a HEA would look like for this group of characters...smiling when I got to the end. Why hello. I am not a fan of winter but if it meant being stranded in a cabin with four men like Samantha was then sign me up. Just when I thought I might have a favorite or two out of the four men, they would do something that had me loving them all...Jace, Reed, Alec, and Cole. Each scene just seems to get hotter and hotter. When it came to the poker game, there was no losers. they were all winners. I loved this book so much. I could not stop reading it. In fact, I finished it in one afternoon. Trilina brought the cheeky humor as well. If you are looking for your next holiday read, you have to pick up a copy of this book. Tangled in Tinsel is a guaranteed yummy treat that will warm you up! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Imagine being snowed in with four hot successful men. P.S. they've all played the hero in too many of your naughtiest dreams. Problem is, you work for them, and that makes them off-limits. Except now they're looking at you like you're Santa's cookies. And they definitely want to take a bite. Talk about making you reconsider your life choices. These four are aiming for Santa's naughty list, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting: Jace Reed Alec ...and Cole for Christmas. It might've started as a decorating job. But it ended Tangled in Tinsel. To preface this review: I'm a grayace that likes to read smut simply for my entertainment. I find it interesting and, frankly, funny to see what non-ace folks deem as sexy.
Normally the books I read are pretty simple and rather straight to the point, but this one was just up and down the entire way through. But I will say this: I'm giving this book 3. whole. stars. because I did really like how thorough the "questioning" part was (the scene before the actual event took place), because I feel like in a lot of romance books, they don't talk about the safety part of it. It was quite refreshing to see a book do exactly that. Oh, and some of the sentences are hilarious, in a good way. The ending shook me up though, and I won't lie, I am very confused. (
