I could not wait to get my hands on this book. And it did not disappoint. There are times when our main character seems larger than life, but that is ok. This installment sees Isaac older, wiser and still chasing his destiny, in the wake of tragedy which seems to slowly be steering him and his family to the new world. I love the way Mr.Tory forms his stories. I do not hesitate to put his work right up there with the Hornblower books and leaps ahead of the Master and Commander works. ( )
