Probably the best graphic novel I’ve read this year so far - full of heart, friendship, timeline jumping, and post-apocalyptic adventure (my favorite kind), Danger and Other Unknown Risks took me by surprise. There’s no better talking dog and child friendship out there. And the art! Beautifully drawn, colored, and laid out. I cannot recommend this one highly enough. ( )

This one’s a doozy, and it’s fun from page one. I enjoyed the humor, the worldbuilding, and the twists and turns. I’d read another story from this author. ( )

A fantasy adventure story that's fun, with the added bonus of being an anti-MAGA allegory.

Marguerite de Pruitt hasn't won me over as completely as North and Henderson's Squirrel Girl, but I'd welcome a sequel and the chance to get to know her and her friends better. Barring that, I'd certainly check out any original story North and Henderson decide to do next. ( )
