4 chili peppers on the spice scale!
[Again]
The Salvatores, all 5 of them, are blissfully in their sex haze until something goes down. Lots of good re-enactable scenes in this one - whether with your own harem or lover...haha!
Same issues from the first book, things get progressively more involved in the secret society and shady dealing part.
Now, is there a lot of character development? No. There is some repetition in the plot and in the descriptions used. Pacing is fast-slow-fast-slow and the end is an obvious cliffhanger. There are holes in the story as far as all the mafia/secret society stuff goes but let's be really honest here - if you're trying to read any KU smut for the plot, you're in the wrong place. Be okay with plot holes and enjoy the sex.
The characters are pretty one-dimensional, unfortunately; each guy has a specific characteristic that Alex talks about and that becomes his entire personality for the book; that's a bit lame but again, we're here for the sex, not the reality. This is a general characteristic in the genre as a whole that authors might look at addressing as the genre gains more fans.
