Solid cookbook with good recipes and practical tips for home cooks who generally don't have all day to work on the perfect plate. I appreciate that Cora encourages readers to be comfortable throwing things together and inventing their own variations (definitely something I need help with!). I do wish there were more recipes -- maybe there would've been room if the photos (which are gorgeous) were smaller or less plentiful. This is still some place I'll turn to for ideas when our fridge and pantry have just odds and ends. ( )
