This book is a great way to challenge students' imagination and encourage them to use their imagination. This is a silly Halloween book in the Pig the Pug series. Pig is a halloween terror but soon learns his lesson... kind of! My favorite part about this book is the fact that his friend, Trevor, was dressed in a pink unicorn outfit and there was no mention of the blur of gender norms. Sometimes authors feel the need to make soapbox stances on certain topics but I think just allowing children the repeated exposure and not drawing attention is more powerful! Out of all the Pig the Pug books this had to be one of my least favorites that I have read. It was still generating but Pig just ended up coming off as this big jerk, point of the book, and it did not sit right with me. This made it difficult for me to get through the book. In this book it talks about Pig the Pug on Halloween and how he behaves irradicaly. He would take all the candy from a bowl and he would flip candy bowls if he could not have his way. He would egg houses and toilet paper cars if he was not satisfied. He would put yucky things in bags and torment people for pay back. Towards the end he would scarf down his candy and he would eat it with no hesitation until he started chocking on chocolate. His wiener friend trevor had twirl Pig around until the chocolate and candy got unstuck (vomited), To this day Pig does not do all those crazy thing and he shares and trades his loot with his friend trevor. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Pig is the world's greediest pug, and on Halloween he is completely out of control, thinking up nasty tricks to play on people who do not give him the treats he thinks he deserves and never sharing with Trevor the sausage dog--until too much chocolate makes him really sick and he finally learns the error of his ways (again).
