Bear is my new favorite so sorry King!

I have come to terms that I am a book nerd and a book addict and this series is making all my reading problems worse. I came across this series thanks to Scribd and it is one of the better ones that I have read. Now I gushed about how I loved King and I do now let me tell you how much I love Bear. I have gotten to know Bear as biker and a loyal friend to King & Preppy (side note I love that Preppy is still such a large part of the series). But now it’s his turn for his story to be told. After the events in Tyrant, Bear is in a very dark place. He is trying to drown himself in alcohol, drugs, and women. Everything changes when he gets a phone call and is forced to sober up.

what do you do when you save a young girl from death and make her a promise you hope she forgets? Thia first met Bear when she was 10 years old. He left her a ring and a promise that if she ever needed help that all she had to do was show up with that ring and cash in. Years later she goes to the Beach Bastards MC looking for help but what she found was not at all what she was looking for. Luckily, a bad situation did not turn even worse and she was able to get to King. When she is reunited with Bear, it's not the reunion that she was expecting or one that Bear had planned for. However, a promise is a promise so Bear agrees to help Thia but her situation quickly becomes more complicated than they first thought. Add in the fact that now the MC knows about her and her connection to Bear, and she is a wanted woman with a target on her back.

I know that many readers would say that Bear was very cold and unkind to Thia in the beginning and I don’t disagree but I understand to an extent. When you went through what Bear went through in Tyrant you are entitled to dark moments and bad decisions. Thia is also not a naïve girl. She went through a big transformation in this book first with her parents then with Bears dad and then with Bear

That being said Lawless is just like all of the other books in this series, you will be on the edge of your seat waiting to read what is going to happen next. I didn’t see the ending coming and the cliffhanger was just WOW. Soulless is where this story continues, I sadly have other things on my kindle that need attention or I would be reading that tonight.

I don't know why but I lost interest towards the end of the book. I think Bear's story could have been one book and better for it. I think I'm done for now. ( )

Great series

These books are so good. They're easy to get through and I read them in one sitting. I'm happy to learn more about Bear and see him fall in love, especially after what he went through in Tyrant. Thia has been through some pretty bad things too and I like seeing them heal each other. I also like that we still get to see King and Ray and their lives. I can't wait to start the next book. ( )

Lawless is raw, dark, and hot. When some books claim to have a 'bad boy', they are just wrong. TM Frazier shows you a legitimate bad guy. Bear (and King) is a criminal who has murdered several people, does drugs, and is generally everything that is really bad. He is not just a cocky bastard who hooks up with girls (he does that too) and claims to be a bad guy. So, anyone who claims a book has a 'bad boy' needs to use the King/Bear test. If he is not as bad or worse as these guys, he is not a bad boy.
Now having said that, let me talk about the story in Lawless. First, you do have to read King and Tyrant first. Honestly, if you haven't read those, stop reading this review and go read them. The plot picks up right from page one and it does NOT stop. You are left with a major cliffy so don't say I didn't warn you! My full review will be on my blog The Book Disciple ( )
