An essential addition ( ) There is still pleasure to be had from some discarded and incomplete library books such as my 1950s edition of James the red engine, once the property of Leicestershire County Library, accession number 55825. I can understand that a generation Z child would (and his or her Mum or Dad), would recoil at the state of a copy missing everything before page 6, pages 35/36 plus some tears and rips along the way. but for someone a bit older who remembers these books from the 1950s there remains something magic about them and their glossy pictures and their novelty when they came out Hooray for some battered library books. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
