This book highlights the morphological structures of different night creatures like barn Owls, true owls, bats, frogmouths, etc. The most interesting part of this book are the habitats, adaptive structures with different functions, behavior, and the physiological features of the owl. The author Gallimard Jeunesse and Sylvaine Perols narrate different phases of the owl ’s life cycle with intricate pictures. I prefer seeing the bone structure inside an owl, so the students can be engaged to identify the parts. Once students will see the bones, they can connect the theory of evolution with the bones of an owl. The ending portion of this book signifies the difference among various night creatures’ habitats, locomotion, movements, and adaptive behaviors. ( ) This book is a brief introduction about the night creatures. Especially, the author describes the details of owls and bats’ life such as, how they have babies and take care of their babies. The author also shows the differences between one kind of bat and another kind of bat. Children will learn about the night animals. They will know about where these animals live and find food. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
