"Oh my god. Who is that?" I get asked this question a lot. "Oh him?" I reply. "That's just Ian." Just Ian is the biggest understatement of the century. Just the Mona Lisa. Just the Taj Mahal. Just Ian, wih his boring ol' washboard abs and dime-a-dozen dimpled smile. Just Ian is... just my best friend. We're extremely close, stuck so deep inside a Jim-and-Pam-style friendzone everyone at work assumes we're a couple - that is until one day, word spreads through the teacher's lounge that he's single. Fair game. Suddenly, it's open season on Ian. He should be reveling in all the newfound attention, but to our mutual surprise, the only attention he seems to want is mine. He's turning our formerly innocent nightly chats into X-rated phone calls. Our playful banter sports a new, dangerous edge. I want to assume he's playing a prank on me, just pushing my buttons like always - but when Ian lifts me onto the desk in my classroom and slides his hands up my skirt, he doesn't leave a lot of room for confusion. I'm a little scared of things going south, of losing my best friend because I can't keep my hands to myself. So, I'm just going to back away and not return this earth-shattering kiss - oh who am I kidding! Goodbye Ian, ol' buddy, ol' pal! Helloooo mister not so nice gu… (más)

The pacing of this book was just terrible. The switch between them going from best friends to lovers was way too fast and felt completely forced because of it. The relationship just came off feeling rushed making their relationship hard to get on board with. ( )

I liked this, but I felt something was missing. Maybe the fact that it was from both heroine's and hero's point of view, but somehow the tension was missing for me. I enjoyed it though, but nothing mindblowing. ( )

R.S. Grey has done it again! She's written another phenomenal rom-com that I COULD NOT put down.

Not So Nice Guy is a fun, sexy (not to mention swoon-worthy), friends-to-lovers story.
One of my favorite things about R.S. Grey's writing is her humor. As expected, this had me laughing from page 1.
"Ian started out wearing camo fatigues, but I ripped them off with my teeth. That’s how I know I’m dreaming—my mouth isn’t that skillful. In real life, I’d chip a tooth on his zipper."
I read it during my boyfriends tattoo session and had the hardest time stopping myself from laughing out loud.

Sam and Ian teach at the same high school. They also happen to be best friends. Who are in love with each other. And yes, they're both completely oblivious to that fact. At least until Ian gets an inkling that Sam may be attracted to him and decides to test the waters...which definitely throws Sam for a loop.

I highly recommend picking this one up if you're in the mood for a sweet, steamy friends-to-lovers romance! ( )

I love this author and her writing style. There is just something about it that draws me in. Ian and Sam were perfect together as the best friends to lovers romance. ( )

Sam and Ian teach at the same high school. They've been friends since they first met three years earlier and do almost everything together. Both secretly have feelings for the other, but don't want to take a chance on ruining their friendship. That's until Sam corrects the assumption by the rest of the teachers that they have been dating. Now they're both considered on the market and decisions must be made.
This is the first book I read by this author but not the last. I'm already looking into her back catalog for another book. First of all, this book is hilarious. Sam and Ian's banter literally had me laughing out loud. I want this to be a movie that I can watch over and over.
Also, the sex scenes are hot. And real. I loved Ian's restraint and how it made Sam crazy. Sam and Ian are a great pairing, the kind of people you want for best friends. The twist at the end of the story was awesome. This is just a really good contemporary romance. ( )
