Noah’s Christmas town is devastated by a flood from a hurricane. Catalina and her crew want to “fix” the town and air the reconstruction on her TV show. He doesn’t trust her not to exploit the town’s people by garnering pity for them and thus increase her ratings. Cat had restored one home when it was damaged only a couple of years ago, and now she wants to repair the new damage as well as fixing other buildings. And she wants to do it in just a few weeks so they can resume their annual Christmas festivities that bring in needed revenue for the town. It’s pretty much mutual intense dislike for each other, but, of course, it’s not long before they are kissing in an alley. This chick-lit romance is short on plot and long on steam. The best character is Noah’s young daughter Sara. Too bad she wasn’t in the story more. ( )

Cat King is a celebrity home renovation expert. A
hurricane is heading for Merry, Connecticut and Cat is
worried about some friends who she had done a
renovation in the past. The hurricane devastates parts
of Merry so Cat heads to Merry to find her friends and
she what she can do to help them. Once Cat is there
helping out she has an idea to bring her crew and
cameras to help put the town back together. Her
network loves this idea and helps to sponsor the
rebuilding of the town. If the town manager agrees to
this the network is going to produce a Christmas
Special about it.

Just one person is keeping this from happening. Noah
is the town manager. He is a sign dad of a lovely
daughter names Sarah. Noah is a tad grumpy and he
doesn‘t want anyone capitalizing from this disaster.
Cat does finally “trick” Noah into approving her plan.

What ensues from here is a love hate relationship
between Noah and Cat. But can theses two enemies
call a truce long enough to complete the rebuilding
and bring the Christmas Spirit back to Merry in time for
the annual Christmas Eve festivities?

This book was a great. Christmas read and boy there
are some steasy scenes between Noah and Cat. This
was a fun fabulous read and I highly recommend it for
a holiday read.
