Howard presents another of his reincarnation tales, this time his main character recalls a previous life, harking *way* back before detailed historical records.
A fearless warrior battles men, a sabre-tooth tiger, a huge snake, and a vile monstrosity that can at best be compared to a gigantic worm.
I don't rate this as one of Howard's finest short stories but it was still worth reading. (
