Machine Project is a place for artists to do fun experiments together with the public, in ways that influence culture. It is a Los Angeles based not-for-profit arts organisation and community event space. Machine Project's mission is to produce cultural programming that inspires audiences to become creatively active by imagining, participating and relating in new ways to the arts and sciences . In this title, new essays and images capture the quirky essence of 'Machine Project', where vacations for plants, concerts for dentists, and operas for dogs are a few of the typical offerings produced at the informal, non-profit, educational institution in Los Angeles.
