I loved this book! If I could give it ten stars, I would. The collaged style of illustration and mixtures of textures are beautiful. It's silly and full of fun rhymes and nonsensical words. Birthdays are a big deal when you are a kid, and it can feel like yours will never come. This book captures that feeling of waiting and hoping and wishing and thinking of the day when you get to blow out candles and invite friends over. It's so much fun! ( )
