Another great book in this series. I love the main characters and how Ms. Childs is able to give such great descriptions of the area.

Book 8 in the series and going to Charleston is still fun! The mystery in this one revolves around the Featherbed Bed & Breakfast owners and is good. With this cozy series it's the characters that makes me want to continue reading. ( )

Series purists, stop reading now!

OK, now that they're gone, I can tell the rest of you that this is the eighth book in a mystery series set in a tearoom in Charleston, S.C. I read the first three a few years ago, but that was all my library had at the time. Recently they got some more, but this was the next in the series that was available. So, I just skipped Nos. 4-7. I KNOW.

These are entertaining reads that don't demand much brainpower. I enjoy the descriptions of tea and the food they serve alongside it, enough to overlook the rather two-dimensional characters and the somewhat unbelievable mysteries. And neither of those faults would be improved by reading them in order, as far as I can tell. SO THERE. ( )

I am still enjoying these mysteries. The books follow a pattern - each one pretty much the same, but the chracters and the tea are what keep me coming back. ( )
